LambEx is calling for expressions of interest (EOIs) from people across the sheep, lamb and wool supply chain to help shape LambEx28. Up to nine places are open on the LambEx28 Taskforce, and EOIs close on 20 November 2026.

Ever wanted to be involved in shaping a global sheep industry conference? Now is your chance. Taskforce members help build the program, spotlight the speakers and champion the ideas that will drive the industry forward. Your insight is exactly what we need.

What you will do

  • Shape the conference program and recommend high-calibre speakers

  • Review guidelines and assess applications for LambEx program initiatives

  • Share industry insights and trends with the CEO and Board

  • Champion LambEx and open doors to sponsors and stakeholders

  • Review and evaluate the conference to improve the next one

  • Have a lot of fun along the way!

Who we are looking for

  • People from across the entire sheep, lamb and wool supply chain

  • People who have attended a LambEx Conference and regularly attend other industry events

  • Producers from WA, Tasmania, the Northern Tablelands (NSW) and North Central and Goulburn Broken (VIC) are strongly encouraged to apply

  • All appointments are skills based, with an appropriate geographical and diversity spread

  • Members are appointed in a personal capacity. No seats are reserved for

    sponsors or organisations

Key details

  • Term: 1 February 2027 to 30 September 2028

  • Time commitment: about 12 to 15 days a year

  • Meetings: 10 or more, with 2 in person

  • New members: at least 30% of places

How to apply

EOIs close on 20 November 2026.
