Whether you’re hands-on in production or working across policy, innovation, or markets, LambEx offers valuable learning and networking opportunities.
International delegates are also encouraged to attend, with LambEx26 welcoming global perspectives and providing a unique opportunity to connect with global peers while exploring emerging opportunities within Australia’s sheep industry.
LambEx26 will be held from 7–10 July 2026 at the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC), South Australia. The centrally located venue is easily accessible and surrounded by accommodation, dining, and transport options.
The first two and a half days of the conference will be delivered exclusively at the ACC. On Friday 10 July, the program concludes with LambEx On Tour, where delegates will head offsite on curated regional tours to experience South Australia’s sheep industry first-hand, combining practical insights, regional showcases, and networking in real-world settings. All tour buses will depart from the ACC.
LambEx26 will cover a broad range of topics relevant to the future of the Australian sheep, lamb and wool industry, including productivity, sustainability, animal health and welfare, markets and trade, innovation and technology, policy and regulation, and practical on-farm and supply chain insights. The full conference program and speaker lineup will be released progressively on the LambEx26 website. To view our speaker lineup, click here.
The LambEx26 program and speaker announcements will be released progressively in the lead-up to the event. Keep an eye on the LambEx26 website and our social media channels for updates as sessions and speakers are confirmed. To view our speaker lineup, click here.
Conference sessions will be recorded; however, full session recordings will not be made available to delegates after the event. Selected snippets may be used for LambEx website and promotional content post-event. Availability and use of recordings will depend on speaker permissions and technical considerations.
LambEx26 is designed as a fully in-person event to maximise face-to-face connection, learning, and engagement across the program, exhibition, and networking experiences. At this stage, the conference is not available to attend online.
We are, however, continuing to explore ways to extend access to selected content and updates and will communicate any future options via the LambEx website and official channels.

LambEx is a professional yet relaxed industry event. Smart casual is the most common dress code for conference sessions. You’ll see everything from business attire to corporate uniform and plenty of RM Williams - particularly for networking events and tours. For social functions such as the Elders Grandslamb Gala Dinner, cocktail attire is recommended. The key rule is to wear something comfortable — you’ll be on your feet, networking and moving between sessions.
LambEx On Tour offers delegates the opportunity to experience South Australia’s sheep regions through seven (7) curated regional tours. These relaxed, immersive experiences combine learning, site visits and networking. Tours run outside the core conference program and must be booked as an add-on to your delegate registration.
LambEx26 offers a wide range of sponsorship and exhibition opportunities to suit different objectives and budgets.
