‘Trailblazers’ of the Australian Lamb Industry are invited to pitch your idea, technology or innovation that will make a difference to and improve the sustainability of the sheep, lamb and wool industries.
The pitch can cover any aspect -big or small - of the sheep, lamb or wool supply chain including on-farm, off-farm (transport, processing, retail, export etc) or the social and cultural perceptions of the industry.
The LambEx Coles Trailblazers competition is designed to recognise young thought leaders & innovators; Encourage those entering careers in sheep/lamb or wool supply chain, or career progression for those already in industry.

Applications for the LambEx Coles Trailblazer competition are now closed. Successful applicants will be notified in May and finalists will attend LambEx in August 2024.
Eligibility & assessment
Eligibility to be a LambEx Coles Trailblazer is for ages 16-30 with an idea or concept to advance Australia's sheep, lamb & wool industry.

Finalists will be shortlisted by May and will attend LambEx 2024 along with development sessions.

Overall LambEx Coles Trailblazer winner will receive $3,000 with the Junior Trailblazer receiving $1,000 and People's Choice $500. All winners are announced at LambEx 2024 7-9 August in Adelaide.
